1. Who we are
Cam Cookware Co. is an Oregon-registered LLC based at 2701 NW Vaughn Street, Portland OR 97210. We sell French-forged carbon steel cookware direct to households in the United States. "We," "us," or "Cam Cookware" in these terms refers to that entity.
2. Eligibility
You need to be at least 18 years old and have a valid US shipping address to place an order. By using the site, you confirm you meet those criteria.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices are in US dollars and shown without sales tax. We collect tax at checkout based on your shipping address per applicable state law. Payment is captured at order placement; if your bank declines the charge, the order is cancelled automatically.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If something rings up at $1 by mistake we'll email you, refund the charge, and cancel the order — we won't honor an error price.
4. Shipping & delivery
We ship via USPS Priority and UPS Ground from our Portland warehouse. Orders placed before 12 PM PT typically ship same business day; otherwise next business day. Tracking number arrives by email when the label prints. Lower 48 US only — we do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, military addresses, or international addresses.
5. Returns & refunds
30 days from delivery. Pan can be used during that window — cook on it, season it, decide. If it's not for you, email [email protected] and we'll send a prepaid return label. Refund issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of pan arrival back at the warehouse.
We don't accept returns after 30 days because the patina is meaningfully shaped by use — what we'd receive back is essentially a different pan. The lifetime warranty (Section 6) covers defects from that point on.
6. Lifetime warranty
Every Cam Cookware pan is warranted for life against manufacturing defects — handle separation, steel cracking, factory finish failure. Normal patina change, surface scratches from utensils, and color variation are not defects; they're how carbon steel ages. If something fails on us, email support with a photo and we'll repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. Warranty is transferable; pass the pan down without losing coverage.
7. Product description
We try to describe our pans accurately, but variations in the factory-seasoning step mean each pan looks slightly different. The patina depth, color tone, and surface texture vary pan-to-pan within a normal range. Photos on the site are representative, not exact.
8. Use & safety
Carbon steel pans get hot. Use a dry hand towel or oven mitt when handling — the handle conducts heat. Don't put a hot pan under cold water (warping risk). Don't leave food sitting in the pan overnight (rust risk). Follow the care guide. See Care & Use for the full protocol.
9. Intellectual property
The site, product photography, copy, and brand identity are owned by Cam Cookware Co. You're welcome to share product photos with attribution; please don't reproduce site content commercially.
10. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the pan. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow this limit, in which case the applicable minimum applies.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Oregon law. Disputes are first attempted in good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, in Multnomah County, Oregon courts. You retain any small-claims-court right under your state's consumer protection statutes.
12. Changes
If we materially change these terms, we'll note the change at the top and announce it to anyone with an open order at least 14 days before it takes effect.
